Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman is an American gymnast who had been both a member and the captain for the Fierce Five team in 2012 as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In 2012 her year, she received gold at the team events and also the floor exercise. On the balance beam, Raisman was awarded the bronze medal. She was the only American to have won the most medals at an Olympics. At the 2016 Olympics she was awarded gold in the team event which brought her as well as teammate Gabby Douglas the credit of been the first Americans to win back-to-back team golds. In addition, she won two silver medals in the floor exercise and individual all-around. She took a three-year break between the two Olympics from gymnastics competition. Additionally she was a part of two gold-winning American team in gymnastics. The gymnastics classes began at age 2 and loves floor exercise. Aly is an active member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organisation in memory her grandmother, who passed away due to cancer. She hopes to become a fashion designer and expand the range of her leotards and socks in the near future. Fierce is a novel she is working on will be published later in the year.
