Moore was first cast as a lead in Safe (1996). In 1997 the actress career reached a turning point after Steven Spielberg cast her to be the main character in Jurassic Park: The Lost World that became the highest grossing film of 1997. The year 1999 was the first time she was awarded the SAG award for her work in Magnolia. The Hours was her co-starring role in 2002, and it won nine Academy Awards nominations, including Nicole Kidman. Moore was also in The Forgotten (2004), Freedomland 2006, Shelter 2010, etc. Non-Stop was her film of 2014. Moore has appeared in countless movies and television series.
